Browns fan which stadium do you like better Cleveland Municipal stadium or Cleveland Browns stadium?
I was just thinking of this because some people in other questions were mentioning their field when they were talking about what NFL games they went to this season.
Cleveland Browns stadium will be in it’s 9th season this fall, so which do you like better.
to me it’s hard to say I love Municipal stadium the history, the memories of first Browns and first Indians games.
I like the new stadium too, even with the big gap that makes it even colder from the Lake Erie air.
I think I still like the old stadium better, I like those big stadiums like that, and I liked Tiger Stadium when we would go up there to see the Tribe play the Tigers.
That’s just me, what do you think?

I still prefer the old stadium over the new one.
I think for football, old stadiums which have a lot of character are better. I always hear stories on how horrible the visitors locker rooms were at Municipal Stadium, which may have given the home team an advantage. I go to football games to cheer on my team, not for the quality of the venue.
For baseball, however, the new ones like Jacobs Field (not calling it Progressive) are much better. Baseball is a more relaxed atmosphere during warm weather months, so the stadium needs to be as much of the draw as the team is.
I may also be persuaded by the fact that there were so many good (and bad) memories at the old stadium. With no playoff games hosted, the new stadium has not yet made much history or developed it’s own character.
